Legrand Care, a leading provider of connected care technology, is exhibiting at this year’s Housing 2025 in Manchester with a focused presence designed to highlight its innovative solutions for independent and group living environments.
Housing 2025 runs from 24-26th June at Manchester Central and is a staple of the housing sector, bringing a myriad of partners together under one roof to advance the priorities and objectives of the housing and wider living sector, providing a crucial space to collaborate and collectively shape future policy.
The event provides Legrand Care with the opportunity to spotlight a selection of products that support people to live safely and independently for longer — especially in the context of the upcoming analogue to digital switchover in 2027.
At Housing 2025, Legrand Care will showcase:
- NOVO Go — an innovative, mobile telecare solution that connects individuals living independently to a 24/7 monitoring service, enabling them to stay in their own homes with confidence.
- Reach IP — a flexible telecare platform built for the digital age.
- Infinity — a communication and safety solution tailored for younger retirees in gated communities and modern group-living schemes.
- Advent XT2 — designed for more complex assisted living environments, supporting individuals with greater health and mobility needs.
- Pulse CMP — market-leading device management portal
Empowering independence and enhancing quality of life are key areas that Legrand Care’s technology and solutions focus on. As Managing Director, Chris Donnelly, explained: “While this year’s event has a broader housing and construction focus, it remains an important opportunity for us to raise awareness about how technology can empower independence.
“From group living schemes to truly independent at-home solutions across a range of different independent living requirements, our technology is designed to make life safer and more connected for people — not just now, but in a future that is rapidly moving toward full digital infrastructure.”
A key differentiator is the reliability and quality of communication, with Legrand Care providing connectivity to 2G, 3G and 4G mobile networks across all variants with the possibility to use the 4G network for voice transmission without the need to access 2G or 3G networks —Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) technology.
Donnelly added: “Volte is a new technological upgrade that we’re offering free. It’s something that’s been upgraded across all of the Reach 4G infrastructure and NOVO Go systems as standard. It provides better voice connection, through digital enhancements. It is something that we will offer as an upgrade in all new units that leave our UK factory at no extra cost.”
With the clock ticking towards the 2027 analogue-to-digital switchover, Legrand Care is keen to keep the needs of people — not just service providers — at the centre of this shift. NOVO Go and other digital-first products will ensure that individuals aren’t left vulnerable when legacy phone lines are switched off.
As well as its product showcase, representatives from both the assisted living and independent living sales teams will be on hand to discuss how Legrand Care works closely with housing providers, care services, and local authorities to help plan for the digital transition and support better outcomes for service users.
