Extending its offering of healthcare taps, Bristan has launched three new non-thermostatic taps, providing further options for specifiers across their healthcare product portfolio.
Answering demand from specifiers in the healthcare sector, the new non-thermostatic healthcare taps are created for environments where thermostatic control is either not required or not considered best practice. Designed to be the simplest solution for safe non-thermostatic healthcare handwashing, the taps provide numerous features to aid infection control including a removable spout, open outlet flow straightener, and copper tails.
Additionally, the three taps — SOLO-NM SL, SOLO-NM LL and SOLO-NMT LL — all incorporate pressure balancing valves, offering a level of thermal safety without a thermostatic cartridge.
Chris Tranter, Group Product Manager of Specification at Bristan, said: “The new SOLO taps combine all of our expertise in thermostatic mixers in a non-thermostatic package.
“Developed to aid hot water safety measures with the high levels of infection control, the three new non-thermostatic taps offer a cost-effective solution for healthcare facilities. With an easy-fit base for simple tap fitting, the taps are stylish yet practical and enable routine maintenance to be carried out in-situ quickly and easy.”
