Hampshire based housing association, VIVID, has been awarded Housing Association of the Year at the national WhatHouse? Awards.
The awards ceremony, which celebrates the very best in housebuilding, took place today at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House on Park Lane, was hosted by comedian Dara O’Briain.
VIVID scooped the award after judges recognised the organisation for its performance in providing a wide range of customer support services helping to make a real difference to peoples’ lives. VIVID was also praised for providing quality affordable homes to meet local housing needs. This included being appointed as a Homes England Strategic Partner securing £88.2m investment, achieving top regulatory ratings, acquiring private developer Bargate Homes to increase development scale and creating a range of innovative partnerships and joint ventures to increase opportunities for customers.
Mark Perry, Chief Executive of VIVID says, “We’re delighted to have won Housing Association of the Year at the WhatHouse? Awards. We believe having a place to call home is fundamental to everyone’s wellbeing and chances in life. As an organisation our ambition is to increase and improve our homes and services for those who need them the most. It’s great to see our hard work being awarded by WhatHouse? but we’re not complacent. We know we can continue to improve and do more to build more homes and create even brighter futures for our customers.”
VIVID has 70,000 customers in over 31,000 properties in Hampshire, Berkshire, and Surrey. The organisation has recently announced its expansion into West Sussex.
