Residential Fire and Carbon Monoxide (CO) Alarm provider Aico Ltd. has announced the launched of its Mobile Training & Demonstration Units, delivering Expert Installer training in Northern Ireland and Scotland this spring and summer.
The first mobile unit has already visited Northern Ireland from 13-15 February with more dates planned for March, May and June. Dates in Scotland start from 20-22 February, with further dates running through to 1st June. A specially designed webpage on Aico’s website, www.aico.co.uk/mobileunits, tracks all the mobile units and provides the latest information on dates and venues.
Aico’s CPD accredited Expert Installer is a free of charge modular training scheme designed to ensure everyone involved in domestic alarm specification and installation has all the information they need. Over 17,000 contractors have completed modules on Standards & Regulations, Alarm System Design & Installation, and Specific Technologies.
Aico’s Mobile Training & Demonstration Units have proven highly effective in bringing Expert Installer training to more people across the sector than ever before. Their internal layout is flexible and can be configured to meet different requirements, be it a product demonstration or a hands-on training session with Aico alarms and technologies such as AudioLINK data extraction or RadioLINK+ wireless alarm interconnection. Information boards on these and all Aico technologies and alarm ranges are included in the units, with fully functional product attached. A virtual video tour of the company’s manufacturing process is also featured, to show the attention to detail, quality and stringent testing.
